Atlantis Sanya is China’s first integrated entertainment resort
Located on the Haitang Bay National Coast, Atlantis Sanya is the first Atlantis resort in China, joining the flagship Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai as well as The Royal Atlantis Resort & Residences in Dubai and Atlantis, Ko Olina in Hawaii, both currently in development.
“Following an intense development period of long days and nights by a team of approximately 3000 colleagues, we are proud to introduce Atlantis Sanya to our first guests and the public,” said Heiko Schreiner, managing director Atlantis Sanya.
“When you combine 1314 guestrooms including 154 suites, five of which are underwater suites, impeccable design from talents like Jeffrey Beers International and Hirsch Bedner Associates Design and an incredible water adventure at Aquaventure Waterpark, we know we are giving people unparalleled experiences new to Hainan Island and China, that only Atlantis can deliver.”
Built around the myth of The Lost City of Atlantis and overlooking the South China Sea, the resort offers features The Lost Chambers Aquarium, the world’s largest open air aquarium spanning two floors.
The resort offers 21 different restaurants, cafes, lounges, and bars that include the signature Ossiano Underwater Restaurant and Bar, as well as celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay’s awarding winning Bread Street Kitchen and Bar. Meeting space includes a conference centre and multi-function ballrooms.
