Expect the unexpected at the 2017 Australian Event Symposium
The two-day conference will explore how those delivering events can produce unforgettable experiences by including inventive, unexpected moments throughout their events and through the use of the latest event technology.
The event will also explore the connection between events and tourism, looking at how the two sectors can work together more effectively.
Speakers include David Atkins Enterprises founder and CEO David Atkins; Tourism Australia CEO John O’Sullivan, Kat and Co director Katerina Grant and Botanic Gardens Restaurant Adelaide head chef Paul Baker.
The Symposium will also feature an exhibition for the first time in 2017, providing a space for industry suppliers to connect with event professionals.
The 2017 Australian Event Symposium will be held at The Events Centre in Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland on September 14 and 15. The Australian Event Awards will be held on September 13 at the same venue.
