Bumper events season ahead for Tasmania

Tasmania is gearing up for another bumper season of conferences and business events across the state between September and December.

Tasmania gears up for a full season of events

Hobart will host a number of major events including a leading national bank conference (900 delegates), the Aged and Community Services Australia National Conference 2016 (700 delegates), and the Australian Neuro Society Annual Meeting 2016 (850 delegates).

In September, Launceston will host Australia’s first Tri-Nut Conference and the Australian Forest Growers Conference 2016.

In November, the city will host the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand 2016 Conference, the OzCHI National Conference 2016 and the International Cities, Towns & Communities Society Conference 2016.

Business Events Tasmania said Launceston has been gaining momentum both nationally and internationally as a business events destination, offering wine trails, fresh produce, and historical and cultural experiences.
