Hilton announces signing of DoubleTree by Hilton Wellington in New Zealand
Expected to open in late 2017, the hotel will feature 108 rooms, including 21 suites, a restaurant, bar, boardroom and gym.
DoubleTree by Hilton senior vice president and global head Dianna Vaughan said DoubleTree by Hilton Wellington is a “wonderful addition to our growing portfolio of hotels across Australasia”.
“The hotel boasts an ideal location for both the business and leisure traveller with close proximity to the central business district and walking distance to the celebrated Te Papa Museum, the iconic cable car, numerous unique shops and vibrant cafes,” she said.
The property is currently undergoing extensive work to convert the former T&G Building into a hotel.
