Eventbrite and Bandsintown partnership now available for Aussie ticket buyers
The partnership was initially launched in the US in January, which enabled Eventbrite organisers to reach new music fans completely within the Eventbrite environment.
The second phase, which has just launched globally, is a consumer-focused offering that allows music fans to complete their entire Eventbrite concert ticket purchase without leaving the Bandsintown app.
When the partnership first launched earlier this year, Eventbrite CEO and co-founder Julia Hartz said the aim was to provide organisers with a super-targeted, direct connection to the “most passionate of music fans”.
“We’re proud to continue innovating with a best-in-class music partner to create exciting new products that ultimately get more concert goers to the shows they love,” she said.
The new, end-to-end checkout eliminates the redirect to ticketing pages, which can help to significantly increase ticket sales. The partnership also allows consumers to retrieve their Eventbrite tickets in the Bandsintown app, making event entry easier for them and venue staff.
