Mantra heads to Albury

Mantra Group will open a new hotel in Albury in 2018.

The new Mantra Albury Hotel is part of the group’s expansion

mantra-alburyThe Mantra Albury Hotel will offer 158 guest rooms, a restaurant and bar, executive lounge, gymnasium, large conference and meetings facilities, and basement car parking in the heart of Albury’s CBD in the Riverina district of New South Wales.

“Strategically located at the midpoint between Sydney and Melbourne on the Hume Highway, Albury is a key regional commercial and tourism hub with established and varied accommodation drivers, well supported by a large regional airport and an impressive major events calendar which attracts significant visitation to the city,” said Mantra Group CEO Bob East.

AlburyCity Mayor Henk van de Ven welcomed the news of a new Mantra hotel to the city.

“We look forward to collaborating with Mantra Group, local businesses and our existing tourism partners to continue to achieve solid growth in overnight visitation and the visitor economy,” Van de Ven said.
