The properties are Peppers Southbank (Melbourne); Mantra 900 Hay Street (Perth); Peppers Queenstown Resort (Queenstown); Mantra Club Crocodile (Airlie Beach); and Mantra Observatory (Port Macquarie).

“This continued growth and development can be attributed to the Group’s surging profile and dominant positioning as a hotel operator of choice,” said Mantra Group CEO Bob East.

“This latest group of acquisitions reinforces the strong momentum in our growth strategy and highlights our ability to convert our pipeline.”

In fiscal 2016, Mantra Group increased its portfolio by 11 new properties, adding more than 3000 rooms to its inventory, making it Australia’s fastest growing hotel group for the year.

“With seven acquisition announcements in the first five months of FY2017, we’re well-placed to exceed last year’s record result,” East said.
