Over water venue Mr Percival’s opens at Howard Smith Wharves
Howard Smith Wharves director Adam Flaskas said the opening was a milestone for the precinct. “Mr Percival’s has been a vision of mine for a long time and the venue is very close to my heart,” he said.
“I can’t wait to show Brisbane that there is nothing better to do than sip, relax and watch the sunset at Mr Percival’s.”
The culinary offering is headed by Damien Styles, formerly of The Fish House which was awarded one hat in two consecutive years under his watch, with seafood taking centre stage on the menu.
Fraser Island spanner crab with aioli, herbs and a soft roll, Moreton Bay bug roll with spicy cocktail sauce and gem lettuce, whipped cod roe and warm baguette, and crispy fried school prawns with lemon mayo are just some of the dishes at hand.
The precinct as a whole will be fully open with the completion of the flagship Art Series Hotel set for March 2019.
