Discover L.A. partners with LA County Arts Commission on new app
Based on weather, time and distance, the app delivers personalised content for travellers, including museums, attractions, dining options, and events.
Discover L.A. chief marketing officer Don Skeoch says the app will allow visitors and locals to have the best of Los Angeles at their fingertips.
“The Discover L.A. app is the first-of-its kind to utilise proprietary Artificial Intelligence built to enhance the Los Angeles experience. Through smart technology, the app literally knows to serve up soup and indoor dining suggestions on cool days; the closest beaches and ice cream on warm days,” said Skeoch.
Using the app, travellers can also easily navigate the city by clicking “get me there,” which will populate transit options by bike, car, and Metro.
