New board members for CINZ

Four new members have been elected to the Conventions and Incentives New Zealand (CINZ) board following its conference and annual general meeting in Hamilton on October 13.

Julie White from InterContinental Hotels Group (Platinum category), Tracey Thomas from Conference Innovators (Gold category), Sue Duncan from Uno Loco and Jake Downing from Weta Workshop (Silver category) have joined the board this month. Gillian Officer from SkyCity Auckland Convention Centre was re-elected for Platinum category.

“Our board members cover airline, national tourism organisations, convention bureaux, venues, hotels, professional conference organisers and privately owned businesses,” said CINZ chief executive Sue Sullivan.

The CINZ Board is chaired by independent chair, Tony Gardner and includes Sullivan, Tourism New Zealand and Air New Zealand representatives, and nine CINZ members.
