Redevelopment of the Cairns Cruise Liner Terminal includes a new Hemingway’s Brewery

“Since completing the restoration in 2012 Ports North have been working continually to find a high quality commercial tenant to further stimulate and attract people to the development,” said Ports North chairman Russell Beer.

“We have now achieved this with Hemingway’s Brewery. The quality of the Hemingway’s Brewery product coupled with the popularity of craft beer, an iconic waterfront location and innovative design concepts will create a unique destination for locals and tourists alike.”

Designs for the 1400sqm integrate a state-of-the-art Canadian micro-brewing system with its working line-up of 6m high, stainless steel tanks, a restaurant serving focused on locally-sourced ingredients, a providore showcasing local craft produce and a dedicated event space.
