Newly refurbished event spaces reflect Melbourne’s culture
“We put a lot of thought around what we love about Melbourne and why travellers visit the city, coming up with the four hallmarks of Melbourne; sport, shopping, arts & culture and food,” said Sandra Smith, general manager, Holiday Inn Melbourne on Flinders.
To bring the spaces to life, Melbourne photographer Mark Lobo was commissioned to create custom pieces for each of the walls.
“We gave the photographer full creative freedom to bring the four hallmarks of Melbourne to life, as well as showcasing the Holiday Inn brand proposition, the Joy of Travel,” Smith said.
“What he created was beyond our expectations and our guests are truly wowed and delighted when they enter the spaces.”
