Best Case Scenario and me2 Accessibility partner to introduce event accessibility package
Working closely with me2 Accessibility, the new service includes event website and registration platform build, digital platform audits and testing, pre-event planning and on-site logistic management and event signage reviews to ensure events are inclusive and meet Australian accessibility standards.
“As someone who suffers from a visual impairment it’s frustrating when an event website is not accessible, unfortunately it’s an all too common occurrence,” said Luli Adeyemo, director of Best Case Scenario.
“A recent experience at a major sporting event only highlighted this dilemma further after I found the official app impossible to use thanks to its inaccessible colour contrast. This incident spurred me on to set up this new accessible event service, to drive change in the events industry and ensure inaccessible experiences become a thing of the past.”
Kevin Galvin, director, me2 Accessibility, says disability inclusion at business events shouldn’t be something that event planners have to do.
“Inclusivity should be something they want to incorporate and implement at each of their events as standard,” he said.
