Perth to host Royal Australasian College of Surgeons Annual Scientific Congress 2021
PCB also secured $1.79 million in industry financial support, exceeding the target of $1.68 million, placing it as one of the highest industry supported bureaux in Australia.
“We’ve started the financial year well, last week securing the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons Annual Scientific Congress 2021, to be staged at Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre,” said PCB chief executive Paul Beeson. “This event convenes over 3000 high yielding surgical delegates, with an estimated DDE value of $8.68 million.”
Several very large Chinese corporate and incentive event bids are currently in process, with PCB chairman Kevin Skipworth and general manager Gareth Martin travelling to Guangzhou to place the State’s bid.
The Bureau has also appointed Danielle Mauro (membership manager), Connie Ling (business development manager), Belinda Lo (sales coordinator – C&I), Hannah Beattie and Bridget Brown to its business development and membership teams. Anja Sandmann and Anna Kultan have both left the PCB to pursue other opportunities.
