Regional Victoria on show for event organisers next month
Business Events Victoria executive officer Chris Porter said the annual event is going from “strength to strength”.
“Attendees will be guaranteed to find something new for their next business event as the Showcase has grown 60 per cent since the inaugural edition and 25 per cent of exhibitors this year are new,” he said.
“The Regional Showcase is a great way for destinations and venues to build relationships with event buyers and industry stakeholders. We had great feedback after the 2016 event, with buyers being exposed to venues that they were previously not aware of and being first to be kept abreast of updates. Many venues reported genuine booking enquiries as a result of their involvement.”
Exhibitors from Daylesford and Macedon Ranges, Gippsland, Goldfields, Grampians, Great Ocean Road, Greater Geelong and the Bellarine, Mornington Peninsula, Phillip Island, The Murray, Victoria’s High Country, and Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges will be in attendance this year.
Registration is now open for the Regional Showcase, taking place on May 25 at The Plaza Ballroom.
