BEA and 17 partners to promote Australia at IMEX Frankfurt
“IMEX Frankfurt is consistently successful in generating leads for the Australian business events industry and that’s why Tourism Australia has been a long-term exhibitor at the event,” said John O’Sullivan, managing director Tourism Australia.
“To get even more value for Australia at IMEX Frankfurt, we also sponsor events such as the Association Leadership Breakfast, providing access to key decision-makers from associations across Europe.”
Partners on the Australia stand include Adelaide Convention Bureau, Arinex, Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, Business Events Sydney, Cairns Convention Centre, Darwin Convention Centre, Destination Gold Coast, ExpoNet, Hyatt Regency Sydney, ICC Sydney, Melbourne & Olympic Parks, Melbourne Convention Bureau, Melbourne Conference and Exhibition Centre, and Sofitel Darling Harbour.
IMEX Frankfurt marks the first major international business events exhibition since the launch of Tourism Australia’s Boosting Business Events Bid Fund Program (BFP), making $12 million available over the next three years to secure new international business events for Australia.
“With Australia’s track record in business events delivery and our winning combination of unique natural landscapes and friendly welcoming people we are already on the radar as the ideal business events destination,” said O’Sullivan. “The BFP will provide even more reasons to choose Australia.”
